FCI will Hire 6,000 More Employees in next Six Months



The Food Corporation of India will hire 6,000 more employees in next six months. It needs young people to handle the  foodgrains procurement(purchase) and the distribution," Food Minister K V Thomas said in global wheat conference.

 The food minister said that this will be above 4,000 employees FCI is hiring at present.

 It is recruiting 4,000 staff under Group C category through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

FCI is a nodal agency for the procurement and the distribution of the food grains throughout the country.
