Lin Dan is born in October 14, 1983. He is a badminton player from China. Lin completed the "Super Grand Slam" at his age of 27; he won major titles in world badminton. His nickname is "Super Dan".
 Lin was encouraged by his parents to learn piano, but he interest and chose to play badminton from five. He was joining People's Liberation Army the sports troop at 13 and he has been part of China's national badminton team at 18 th of his age.
He voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. He voted as 2010 best athlete male in cctv on 16.01.2011.
